Adisseo recentlylaunched two new sodium butyrate products, Sanion Tetra 50 and Sanion Tetra 70, designed for pigs, broilers, laying hens, breeder chickens?and more, helping support gut health, improve product quality, and support the sustainable development of the livestock industry.
The two products contain 50?percent?and 70?percent?active sodium butyrate, respectively, and use coating technology for targeted release in the animal digestive tract. With precise formulation, they help nourish intestinal cells, promote nutrient absorption, and relieve gut inflammation, thereby improving feed efficiency, supporting growth and development, and enhancing resilience under stress.
Produced through a resource-efficient process, the products require no steam or wastewater discharge, while fully in-house manufacturing reduces energy consumption. Limited use of palm-based raw materials helps ease supply chain pressure. In addition, by improving intestinal digestion and absorption, they indirectly reduce nitrogen and phosphorus excretion and ammonia emissions, contributing to a lower overall carbon footprint in animal farming.
